Emergency Preparedness for Pets

The SDPP held a public meeting for members and friends to report the proceedings of the recent FEMA sponsored seminar on emergency preparedness for animals that took place on October 6th and 7th.

Lynne Angeloro and Bill Hixson gave a summary of the meetings and workshops.

Lynne announced that she has created a web site dedicated to preparedness. It lists services and contact information that could be valuable in an emergency. (Better print it out while you have electricity!)
